Sales Development Representative (BDR/SDR) - SaaS & E-commerce

Own the first steps of the sales process: find target accounts, follow up qualified leads, open conversations and help ecommerce teams understand where FiveX fits.

FiveX sells into ecommerce operators whose calendars are crowded, marketplace leads, commercial directors and agencies juggling catalogs and profitability pressure.

You create disciplined pipeline motion: research, outreach, thoughtful follow-up and crisp qualification so account executives spend time on real opportunities.

About the role

You map industries and accounts where FiveX solves acute reporting or automation pain, initiate outbound sequences and respond quickly to inbound interest.

You capture structured qualification notes, tech stack signals, channel mix, urgency and buying dynamics, so downstream conversations start informed.

You iterate messaging based on what resonates with marketplace-heavy brands and sellers, coordinating with marketing when campaigns overlap.

How success is measured

Expect transparent targets around meetings booked, qualified pipeline created and quality of hand-offs, not vanity activity metrics alone.

You learn FiveX positioning deeply enough to disqualify mismatches early with respect for everyone’s time.

What you will do

  • Prospect into ecommerce brands, retailers, sellers and agencies across Benelux and adjacent EU markets where relevant.
  • Qualify inbound leads with consistent frameworks and schedule discovery conversations.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene so forecasting and account planning stay trustworthy.
  • Collaborate with marketing on experiments that lift reply rates or meeting conversion.

What we look for

  • Prior BDR/SDR or comparable outbound experience in B2B SaaS or ecommerce tooling.
  • Comfort writing concise outreach in Dutch and English.
  • Evidence of persistence paired with respectful prospect experience.
  • Curiosity about marketplace economics beyond generic SaaS pitch decks.

Nice to have

  • Existing network across ecommerce operators or agencies.
  • Fluency explaining profitability, advertising spend or catalog pressure without jargon walls.
  • Hands-on familiarity with CRM sequences and modern outbound tooling.
